Information we collect

We only collect the bare minimum of information necessary for the site to function properly and to allow us to maintain it. When you use Goblin.Tools, we store some data locally in your browser (such as settings and preferences). We also use Simple Analytics to collect basic statistics. This data has no personally identifiable information, no IP addresses, nor any text you input, and does not track you or use cookies.

How we use your information

We use the information stored in your browser to personalize your experience on Goblin.Tools. This data stays on your device and is not sent to us or any third party.

Sharing your information with OpenAI

When you use our services that rely on OpenAI's technology, we send the necessary input data to OpenAI's servers to process your request. We do not store this data on our servers, and we do not share it with any other third party. OpenAI's privacy policy can be found on at https://openai.com/enterprise-privacy/. Goblin.tools and OpenAI do not get any information about who submitted what requests, or where from. Individual requests can not be linked back to the user who submitted them, nor connected to any previous or future requests.

Data security

We are committed to ensuring the security of your information. All data stored in your browser is kept secure and is not accessible by anyone else. We do not have access to this data ourselves.

Goblin Tools Pro

If you have a Pro account, some of what you type is kept on our servers so it can be there on your other devices: your Magic ToDo lists, the last 50 things you made on each tool, any templates you save, and any custom instructions you set. Without a Pro account nothing you type is stored anywhere but your own browser, exactly as before.

You can clear a tool's history whenever you like from the panel on that page, and revoke any list you've shared from your account settings. Deleting your account cancels your subscription and removes all of it: your lists, your history, your templates and your shared links.

Sign-in is handled by Clerk and payments by Paddle, so we never see or store your password or your card details.

Accounts and payments

Signing in and your Pro account are handled by Clerk, our authentication provider. When you create an account, Clerk stores your email address and login credentials on their systems so you can sign in across devices. We never see or store your password. Payments are handled by Paddle, who act as the merchant of record for Goblin Tools Pro. That means Paddle is the seller on record for your subscription and processes your payment details, billing address and any applicable tax information; we never see or store your card details. Your invoices and cancellation are managed through Paddle's billing portal. Paddle's privacy policy is at paddle.com/legal/privacy.

Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page, so please check back periodically to stay informed about how we are protecting your information.
